Just discovered that the Hallmark channel is airing Facts of Life twice a day every weekday. It's so cheesy, but it was one of my absolute favorites as a kid. I was watching the show when I stupidly decided to play around with a mop sitting in a bucket of liquid. I put it up in the air, squeezed it, and the bleach or whatever came down into my eyes, nearly blinding me, so said the doctors in the hospital I was rushed to.

So, yeah, Facts of Life was the shit, along with Punky Brewster and, above all, Bionic Woman. If only they'd bring that show back. Jaime Summers was my first crush.

Oh, and did you know Lisa Welchel, who played Blair, has a website with a journal? She's quite the Christian stay-at-home mom now.
